Traditional pest monitoring methods require manual inspection of traps, which can be time-consuming, costly, and often inaccurate. Farmers may not detect pest population increases early enough, leading to excessive pesticide use and reduced crop quality.
NOVATRAP addresses these challenges by introducing an automated monitoring system that captures and analyses insect data remotely. Using AI-powered image processing, the system identifies and counts pests, providing real-time insights without the need for constant field visits.
This innovation supports more precise and efficient crop protection strategies.
