Second and Third Physical Student Workshops in Cyprus

Eco-Schools

On 16 October 2026, Novatex Solutions Ltd organised the second and third student workshops at Perifereiako Gymnasio Akakiou in Cyprus, as part of the Erasmus+ EcoSchools project.

A total of 44 students, together with their teachers, participated in two interactive educational sessions focusing on environmental awareness and sustainability.

The workshops addressed two important topics:

Sustainable Lifestyles and Consumption

Students explored how everyday choices, consumption habits, and the use of natural resources affect the environment. The session encouraged participants to reflect on their daily routines and discover practical ways to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.

Shared Responsibility and Action

The second workshop focused on the role individuals, schools, and communities can play in addressing environmental challenges. Students discussed how collaboration and shared responsibility can contribute to meaningful environmental action.

Through discussions and educational activities, students had the opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on their habits, and identify practical steps they can take towards a more sustainable future.

By engaging young people in environmental education, the EcoSchools project aims to raise awareness, encourage responsible behaviours, and inspire the next generation to become active contributors to a more sustainable society.

A big thank you to Perifereiako Gymnasio Akakiou, its teachers, and all participating students for their warm welcome and active engagement!
